Dear church family, four of our confirmands were confirmed during a special service on November 8th at 2:30pm at our church. It was a blessed occasion, and we laid our hands on them, prayed for them, and invited them to join the fellowship of believers at Lincoln Park Church family and to be faithful United Methodists.
Christmas Eve Online Services
December 24, 2020
5 PM | 7 PM | 10 PM
In a year of many uncertainties, something that is certain is our well-prepared Christmas Eve celebration at Lincoln Park. This year we will have three services for Christmas Eve.
Join us at 5 PM for a Christmas Eve celebration especially for families and young children. We’ll be featuring a special online version of our annual Christmas pageant that you won’t want to miss! The virtual pageant this year is based on the book The Story of Christmas by Paul Fehlner, and will feature 17 children and their parents. Plus, we’ll have lots of music and candle lighting at the end.
For our 7 PM service, we will have a focus on youth participation, again with special music and pageant and candle lighting.
Our 10 PM service will be a more traditional one with special music, and communion virtually, at the end. (Please have your bread and juice ready for use)
Christmas Eve is a wonderful tradition at Lincoln Park. Please invite your family and friends to join us virtually and worship with us this Christmas Eve. At all three of our services, will have special music and candle lighting along with a simple message that would remind us of the majesty of Christ’s birth. No matter who you are, you are welcome to join us and be blessed.
