We will be having a clothing drive for the Hope Rescue Mission. Last September, they opened a new center called The Lighthouse. This new building is designated specifically for women and children.
Blessing of the Animals
On Sunday, July 31, from 6-7:30 pm, at the Lincoln Park Playground, 400 Dorchester Avenue, we will hold a Blessing of the Animals. Come and bring your animal companion for a celebration of the inter-relationships between all of God’s creatures. Our evening will include live music, a brief service and refreshments. Everyone is invited to bring animal food for the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. Also, remember to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
